Dr. Muhammad Sohail Khan received his M.S. degree in 2013 and PhD degree in geophysics at University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2017. Then he worked in the Comsats University Islamabad, Abbottabad Campus, Pakistan as Assistant Professor of geophysics in 2018-2019 through higher education commission (HEC) program. In his teaching tenure, he taught different M.S. and B.S. level courses, which includes advanced exploration geophysics, geology and tectonics, petroleum geology, seismic methods & stratigraphy, geophysical inversion and also studentthesis advisor for B.S. students.He also worked as a convener of seminar and industry liaison and successfully conducted different seminar to improve the quality of teaching, research and industry outreach. He accomplished five projects and has published different research papers in the area of geophysics and seismology. In July 2019 he joined East China University of technolo
gyas a scientific researcherfor one year on Talented Young Scientist Program (TYSP). His main research interests include in exploration geophysics and seismology. Nowhe have been collaborating with scientists in China, Pakistan and Malaysia to develop new advance techniques for exploration geophysics and seismology.
