Dr. Abdelrahim Elobeid Jahelnabi holds a PhD in Cartography and Geographical Information System (Remote sensing and GIS applications) from Northwest Normal University, China in 2016. Before joining ECUT as a Researcher in Geography under the TYSP program at the Key Laboratory of Digital Land and Resources in July 2019, he had worked as assistant professor at the Department of Agricultural Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Khartoum, Sudan. During his career, Dr. Abdelrahim Elobeid has been involved in many research projects in the field of irrigation system management and land degradation assessment in arid and semi-arid regions.

Dr. Abdelrahim has published 3 peer-reviewed journal papers.
